An alternative access arrangements (including remedial works to the existing roundabout on Glenamuck Road) associated with the residential development permitted under Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council Reg.Ref. D04A/0327 on a site of approximately 0.264 ha (0.652 Acres) at Carrickmines Green. The proposed development will consist of an alterative access arrangement for the previously approved access onto the existing Carrickmines Green roundabout on the Glenamuck Road. The existing roundabout would be maintained and the proposed alternative access arrangement would be constructed in conjunction with the proposed Glenamuck Regional Distributor Road as outlined on the Kilternan/Glenamuck Local Area Plan. The proposed access arrangement will consist of a new 7.5m wide two way carriageway leading from the existing approved access to the existing Glenamuck Road and new exit,5.5m wide,from an internal roundabout to the new carriageway.
