Cherrywood strategic development zone: Planning permission is sought for a permanent park and ride facility within the Cherrywood Planning Scheme, adjacent to the existing temporary park and ride facility situated off the Glenamuck Road, adjacent the Carrickmines roundabout and M50 interchange Carrickmines Dublin. The proposed development (gross floor area 9,745 sqm) is to replace the existing adjoining temporary park and ride facility (DLRCC reg. ref. DZ16A/0585 granted 26th September 2016 refers) and comprises a 350 space (including 15 disabled spaces) multi-storey park and ride facility and amendments to the existing temporary park and ride access road off the existing Carrickmines roundabout (Junction 15, M50) and to permanently permit (with such amendments thereto) the existing temporary permitted access road off the existing Carrickmines roundabout (junction 15, M50). The development includes drainage, landscaping, signage, a bus drop-off facility and a "kiss and ride" facility. The development also includes for a pedestrian access to the Carrickmines Luas Stop. The facility serves Luas Line B1 extension-Sandyford-Cherrywood.
