PC/CSDZ/013/22

A new 2.5 km green route for walking and cycling, stretching from Bridesglen to Brennanstown. The path runs through natural landscape with minimal hard surfacing, designed to sit lightly on the land.

The route is 3–4 metres wide, shared by pedestrians and cyclists. It connects the two residential neighbourhoods and links to the wider Cherrywood cycle network.

The route preserves existing trees and hedgerows while adding 1,200 newly planted trees. Native species planting enhances biodiversity and creates wildlife corridors across the site.
