PC/CSDZ/013/22

A dedicated walking and cycling route stretching 2.8 km from Bridesglen to Brennanstown, running through natural greenspace within the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone.

The path will be 4 metres wide, suitable for pedestrians and cyclists to use safely alongside each other. It connects two key residential areas and provides a traffic-free alternative to road routes.

The route preserves and enhances natural habitat along its length. Approximately 220 new trees will be planted to provide shade, improve biodiversity, and make the path more pleasant year-round.
