Development Description

Construction of a 4/5 storey office building to be known as Building F (gross floor area, 10,850 sq.m), fronting the distributor road at Cherrywood Science and Technology Park over a three level basement car park with a gross floor area of 15,216 sq.m., comprising 289 car spaces, with a basement level 1 vehicular connection to the existing car park under Block G. The existing surface parking for Block E will be relocated to the proposed car park. The ground floor will accommodate a 158 sq.m Retail Bank accessed from the southern elevation along with 2 entrances to the main office accommodation, one from the south and a second from the northwest corner. Screened plant will be provided at fourth floor roof level and an ESB sub station on the north eastern elevation, 664 metres of single carriageway road and ancillary surface water drainage, foul drainage, water mains and public lighting consisting of 315 metres of 4 - lane carriageway and 349 metres of 2-lane carriageway including a signalised T junction and associated parallel kerb side car parking, pedestrian footpaths and cycle tracks, a new pedestrian walkway to the south of Block F to connect between the existing path on the eastern edge of the pond and path outside Block G, a stepped pedestrian connection to allow access between the new access road and the pond alongside Block E, alterations to ESB substation access road at Block E, ancillary hard and soft landscaping around Building F and related site development works.
