The park will be substantially upgraded with improved sports facilities, new recreational spaces, better access, and environmental enhancements including a new wetland area.

A new playground and improved sports pitches will serve local residents. A multi-use games area (MUGA) will provide a hard court for various sports. Two clubhouses will offer changing and social facilities. New paths and a footbridge will improve movement through the park.

A new lake wetland area will support biodiversity and provide natural drainage. Landscaping and pathways will enhance the setting and accessibility.

Additional car parking spaces will be provided. New entrance improvements and enhanced boundary treatments will make the park easier to access on foot and by bicycle.
