AA reason for decision An ‘Information for Screening for Appropriate Assessment’ report, prepared by Brady Shipman Martin (BSM), has been submitted. It concludes that ‘no elements of the project will result in any impact on the integrity or Qualifying Interests/Special Conservation Interests of any relevant European site, either on their own or in combination with other plans or projects’. The proposed development has been screened for AA by the Planning Authority (Planning Authority report on file) and it has been determined that the proposed development will not significantly impact upon a Natura 2000 site. EIAR reason for decision Having regard to the nature and size of the proposed development, its location which is on a site which will be fully serviced urban site in a Strategic Development Zone, the fact that the proposed development is not considered likely to have an impact on a sensitive site and the fact that the proposal will not result in the production of any significant waste or emissions, there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development. The need for environmental impact assessment can, therefore, be excluded at preliminary examination and a screening determination is not required. Second Schedule Conditions 1.
