Appropriate Assessment Screening It is the responsibility of the competent authority (Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Council) to undertake a Screening for Appropriate Assessment (AA). Based upon information received and the internal screening assessment carried out by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown (report on file) it has been determined that the proposed development will not significantly impact upon a Natura 2000 Site and a Stage 2 (Natura Impact Statement) is not required in this instance. Environmental Impact Assessment Having regard to nature of the development and the urban location of the site the Planning Department are of the view that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development.
